Day 02: Karachi – Hyderabad via Thatta
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, hop in the car as we embark on a morning drive to Hyderabad, with a stopover in Thatta along the way. En route, we have a treasure trove of historical sites to visit. First, we'll explore Chaukundi, known for its ancient tombs and intricate carvings that tell tales of a bygone era. Next, it's Banbhore, an archaeological site that was once a significant trading hub. Then, we'll visit Makli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its necropolis that stretches as far as the eye can see. Finally, we'll pay our respects at the Shahjehan Mosque, another UNESCO gem that showcases stunning architecture. Day 03: Hyderabad – Mirpur Khas & Umerkot Excursion
Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion. We'll head out to Mirpur Khas and Umerkot. In Mirpur Khas, we'll visit the local bazaar, a vibrant place where you can interact with the locals, sample delicious street food, and find unique souvenirs. Then, we'll make our way to Umerkot, where we'll explore the fort and museum. These sites offer a glimpse into the region's rich history and cultural heritage. If time permits, we'll also visit the local Hindu temple, adding a touch of spiritual diversity to our day. After a fulfilling day, return to the hotel in Hyderabad for a well-deserved rest. Day 04: Hyderabad – Sukkur
In the morning, we'll start our tour of Hyderabad. First, we'll visit the Sindh University's Institute of Sindhology Museum, a place that houses a wealth of knowledge and artifacts related to the region's history and culture. Then, we'll take a stroll through the Shahi Bazaar, where you can experience the local life and shop for traditional items. Next, we'll admire the Kalhora Monuments, which stand as a testament to the region's past glory. After lunch, we'll hit the road and drive to Sukkur. En route, we'll make a special stop at Bhit Shah, the shrine of Shah Abdul Latif, the great Sufi poet of Pakistan. Upon arrival in Sukkur, we'll check into the Chancery Guest House. Day 05: Sukkur – Larkana via Kot Diji and Moen Jo Daro
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we'll begin our journey to Larkana. But first, we'll make stops at Kot Diji and Moen Jo Daro. At Kot Diji, we'll explore the ancient fort and archaeological site, which give us insights into the region's early history. Then, it's on to Moen Jo Daro, a world-renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the same era as ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. We'll visit the SD and DK areas in detail, marveling at the advanced urban planning and architecture. Later, we'll visit the museum to learn more about the site's history and significance. Finally, we'll visit a local village nearby to get a taste of rural life. In the late afternoon, we'll transfer to the hotel in Larkana and check in at the Sambara Hotel. Overnight in Larkana.
Day 06: Larkana – Karachi via Sehwan Sharif
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. Then, we'll drive to Sehwan Sharif, home to one of the most respected Sufi saints in the region. Here, we'll soak up the spiritual atmosphere and visit the shrine. After this enriching experience, we'll continue our journey back to Karachi. Once we arrive, we'll check into the hotel for the night. Overnight in Karachi.
Day 07: Karachi – Departure
In the morning, you'll have some leisure time to relax or do some last-minute shopping. Then, at the appropriate time, we'll transfer you to the airport for your flight home, bringing an end to this memorable journey.
